Who We Are

We are the Garden City South/West Hempstead Little League. Established 1954. We play at Cherry Valley Field,   located on Cherry Valley Avenue 2 blocks North of Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead.
​And Echo Park Field located on Nassau Boulevard about 1 mile south of Hempstead Turnpike.

No Organization does as much as we do!
 This is our 69th season.
We offer indoor clinics for all age groups, professional pitching instructions.                                  We have invested in major improvements to our fields.                                                                   End of the season Trophy / Outdoor Movie Night.                                                                           We have a fully equipped food shack.                                      

A Board Officer on duty for all games. AED on the property.                                                
Family outing to the NY Mets game.     Summer and Fall Baseball and Softball Programs.                                                 
We installed 2 new scoreboards and a PA system throughout the complex.                                              

So please consider being part of such a proud organization.                                          Where the children will learn how to win and lose, learn how to respect authority and to learn the values and quality attributes of sportsmanship, teamwork and fair play.
